Dr. Moonsamy became the owner of Eye Care Optometry in 2000. At the same time, her brother, Neil Moonsamy, left his career in bio-tech to help manage the practice. Together with their parents, Sue and Sam Moonsamy, who still help out on occasion, they have made this family business a successful and beloved optometry practice in Oakland.

Josue has been with the team for only a few years, but we have quickly come to rely on him as an excellent optometric assistant. His ability to master new technology and equipment has made him an invaluable part of the practice.
